Magnetization reorientation of GdFeCo/Ir/GdFeCo heterostructures at critical temperatures

چکیده
In GdFeCo/Ir/GdFeCo heterostructures with amorphous GdFeCo layers, three critical points were found in the temperature dependences of magnetization. neighborhood 100 K, compensation for magnetizations Gd and FeCo sublattices is observed, which form a magnetization minimum does not depend on magnetic field. As decreases, sharp stepwise transition corresponds to switching mutual magnetization's orientation layers between their parallel antiparallel configurations. This depends field measurement made. Its shifts range 70-300 K change 0.5-5 T. At low temperatures <50 spin glass state accompanied by decrease moment zero disappears when applied. Magnetization process of single molecule magnets at low temperatures.
We show that correlations established before quenching to very low temperatures later drive the magnetization process of systems of single molecule magnets, after a magnetic field is applied at t=0. We also show that in simple cubic lattices m proportional, variant sqrt[t], as observed in Fe8, but only for 1+2log((10)(h(d)/h(w)) time decades, where h(d) is a nearest neighbor dipolar magnetic fi...
متن کاملSpontaneous Magnetization of the O(3) Ferromagnet at Low Temperatures
We investigate the low-temperature behavior of ferromagnets with a spontaneously broken symmetry O(3) → O(2). The analysis is performed within the perspective of nonrelativistic effective Lagrangians, where the dynamics of the system is formulated in terms of Goldstone bosons. Unlike in a Lorentz-invariant framework (chiral perturbation theory), where loop graphs are suppressed by two powers of...
متن کاملNonzero macroscopic magnetization in half-metallic antiferromagnets at finite temperatures
Combining density-functional theory calculations with many-body Green’s-function technique, we reveal that the macroscopic magnetization in half-metallic antiferromagnets does not vanish at finite temperature as for the T=0 limit. This anomalous behavior stems from the inequivalent magnetic sublattices which lead to different intrasublattice exchange interactions. As a consequence, the spin flu...

متن کاملOrigin of spontaneous magnetization reversal in exchange biased heterostructures
The dependence of thermally induced spontaneous magnetization reversal on time-dependent cooling protocols implies that this reversal is energetically favored, contrary to the prediction of existing positive exchange bias models. Slow cooling through and long waiting near the Néel temperature of the antiferromagnet enhances the magnitude of the magnetization reversal. Further, cycling the tempe...
